🧩 What You’ll Do

As a Cloud & Monitoring Intern, you will design and implement a monitoring and reporting platform to observe the real-time performance, usage, and health of a production WordPress application hosted on the cloud.

This internship focuses on system observability, monitoring, dashboards, and reporting, using industry-standard tools such as Power BI, Grafana, and Zabbix.

You will be responsible for:

• Monitoring a cloud-hosted WordPress application and its infrastructure
• Collecting system metrics (CPU, memory, disk, network)
• Tracking application performance and availability
• Collecting and visualizing logs and usage data
• Creating real-time dashboards for monitoring and analysis
• Building analytical and reporting dashboards using Power BI
• Defining KPIs and performance indicators
• Setting up alerts and notifications for incidents
• Analyzing trends and identifying optimization opportunities
• Documenting the monitoring architecture and results

📊 Monitoring & Reporting Scope

The project will involve designing a complete monitoring and reporting solution, including:

• Real-time monitoring with Zabbix and/or Grafana
• Metrics collection from servers and applications
• Visualization of performance, availability, and usage data
• Business-oriented reporting dashboards with Power BI
• Periodic reports (weekly/monthly)
• Alerting and incident detection

This project is suitable as a real-world cloud monitoring project and end-year academic project.
